Bidding online lets you capture the enthusiasm of Rumpel’s auctions from anywhere in the world. If you wish to bid online, it’s important to register to bid before the morning of the sale. Rumpels Gallery works with Liveauctioneers, Invaluable, 51bidlive and thesaleroom to provide all of our international clientele the opportunity to bid live in real time. Prior to the sale, buyers can view our online catalogue on our website, as well as online at Liveauctioneers, Invaluable, 51bidlive, and the saleroom. As soon as the auction begins, buyers can bid online. For buyers unable to bid during the live sale, the online bidding platforms offer a secure bidder network that allows registered buyers to leave confidential absentee bids for upcoming sales. These bids will remain private until the lot appears in the live online auction.

Please call us at 1-514-669-3508 or email at [email protected] to set up absentee and/or telephone bidding.

Bidding in person is an exciting and thrilling experience. To attend a live on-site auction, you must first register to bid.If you’re already registered, it’s important to confirm that you’ll attend the auction the morning of the sale. After checking in with our registration assistant, you will receive a bid number and marked paddle to use when bidding in the auction. This way, after you’re successful in purchasing a lot, our auctioneer can take note of your bid number. Successful buyers will then receive an invoice for any items they’ve purchased and arrange for payment and collection of their lots with our staff.

If your bid at one of Rumpel’s auctions is successful we’ll follow up with an invoice letting you know the hammer price, as well as all other charges including the buyer’s premium, taxes, shipping, and any other applicable fees.

We accept credit cards, checks, and wire transfers.

Shipment typically occurs 7-14 days after payment has been received. We prefer to ship via UPS or Federal Express. Please note, that unless absolutely necessary we do not ship to a P.O. Box. Once payment has been received and you provide a street address, we’ll get your purchase to you as soon as possible.

Successful bidders are required to pay for all shipping, insurance and handling charges. Please be aware that for larger or particularly valuable items, shipping charges may be substantial. Once items are paid for, we will provide you with a list of preferred shippers including rates.
